A much better view: City Hall observation deck reopens with a story as well as a panorama

The restoration effort was coordinated by the Buffalo Arts Commission with historical displays by Hadley exhibits. The Brown administration deserves a lot of credit for this, as do project manager Mike Dann, John Lydon of Left Coast Design Studio Architecture, historian William H. Siener and Buffalo Arts Commission executive director Emerson Barr.
The interior space of the observation deck includes new historical photographs of the city, many of which came from the archives of the Buffalo Historical Society.
